Skyscanner is the best site to do that. I love using the “Everywhere” search option, especially when I don’t know exactly where I want to go. It helps me make the right decision by easily comparing destinations and prices at the same time. This is also perfect for spontaneous, last-minute trips.

Sometimes, you might spot a great deal but feel unsure about going. But what if that trip turns out to be one of the best vacations of your life? That’s often how it works for me—spontaneous trips almost always end up being amazing.

Keep in mind that getting from one airport to another can take an hour or more, so leave extra time to avoid missing your flight. On the bright side, using layovers this way can add a little adventure without extra cost.

But if you are lucky, you will get a lower ticket price as you won’t have to pay those extra fees we get charged when we buy online.

Signing up for a price alert through Hopper, Skyscanner, or Google Flights can save you time and help you snag the best deal. I used this trick for my flights to Asia, and it worked really well. I booked one ticket from Chicago to Singapore and another from Bangkok back to Chicago.
