my wander moments about me

Hi, I am

Lena

I’m a native Russian who, after graduating from university, spent three summer months in America. I loved it so much that I moved here the following year. It was during my time in America that I realized I wanted to become an entrepreneur, travel the world as much as possible, and help people discover all the hidden travel gems and tricks.

my wander moments about me

I grew up in a simple family, so life was basic back then. But I always had big goals, and I believed things would change in the future. My first trip to America was spontaneous, but I knew it was the right decision. I'm thankful to my mom for all her help and support at that time.

As I was studying tourism at university, I always dreamed of traveling the world. But back then, I couldn’t afford it, so it stayed just that—a dream. When I finally got here, everything changed. I figured out how to find cheap tickets, travel on a budget, and picked up a bunch of tips that I still use today. Now, I want to share these tips with you so you can start making your travel dreams come true too.

A little more about me…

I’m a QA Engineer by day and a travel enthusiast in my free time. I’m also a cat owner, and my cat joined me once on my first cross-country road trip. With a Bachelor’s degree in economics, management, and tourism, I’ve always been passionate about discovering the world. I started solo traveling 10 years ago and have since explored Europe, Asia, Australia, UK, USA, Mexico, and more.
