Lake Zurich is easy to enjoy and perfect for relaxing. You can walk along the water, rent a bike, or sit on the grass and enjoy the views. On hot summer days, there are free swimming spots, and the area is clean and well-maintained.

Hike Uetliberg Mountain

If you want to hike, you’ll reach the best panoramic views in the city, for free.

If you don’t want to hike the entire way, you’ll be glad to find out that there is a train that takes you half of the way, and walking the rest is very accessible. When you reach the top, you’ll find views of Zurich and the Alps. And you won’t resist the temptation of snapping pictures.

Kapellbrücke (Chapel Bridge). This bridge is over 7 centuries old and is one of the most appreciated attractions in the city. If you explore it, you’ll love its triangular roof and the artistic paintings that illustrate historical images. The bridge goes across the Reuss River and feels like a portal to a different world.

 

Lion Monument. Löwendenkmal is a sandstone sculpture that pays tribute to the Swiss Guards who fell during the French Revolution. It’s surrounded by a beautiful park, where visitors can relax and admire the royal image of the lion.
